ChatGPT 101: Getting to know the AI-Based Platform
Artificial Intelligence is defined as “intelligence that is perceived, synthesized, and inferred” through machines, as stated by Wikipedia. [1]
This technology, which is widely-used and considered to be an “innovative technology” has been around since 1956. [1]
As GetSmarter, a website that talks about AI, points out, several industries are experiencing this type of disruption — Information Technology, Healthcare, and Marketing to name a few. [2].
Enter ChatGPT, which is the latest Social Media platform utilizing this technology, under the parent company OpenAI founded by Sam Altman.
ChatGPT is a “large language chatbot by OpenAI, which incorporates the concept of “Reinforcement Learning with Human Feedback”, “which is a type of training that uses Human Feedback to allow the chatbot to follow directions and provide responses back.” [3]
Recently, Microsoft announced a large investment in the platform. [4]
