CES 2022 — New Tech Releases

The annual Consumer Electronics Show was held this year from January 5 — January 8th, 2022 in Las Vegas. This show puts a specific emphasis on new, innovative, and disruptive technologies with the potential to change the dynamics of the evolving tech field.

According to Fast Company, here are some of the highlights of this year’s noteworthy technological inventions:

  1. Car that changes Colors: BMW’s iXFlow model has the ability to change the entire car’s color — options being Black, Gray, and White to name a few. Along with that, according to CNBC, the model also features a 31" panorama display, among other features. [1], [2], [3]

2. Self-Driving Tractor: This is a new autonomous- based tractor by John Deere. It weighs about 40 lbs. and operates on Machine-Learning based algorithms through NVIDIA, along with GPS tracking methodologies. Through the GPS, it alerts farmers about next steps/instructions that need to be taken.

3. Sony Playstation VR2: With Virtual Reality incrementingly making it’s presence known in the tech field, Sony Playstation has introduced their version of their Virtual Reality-based product, the VR2. It is slated to come out in mid-February.

4. Samsung: This company is always at the cusp of introducing ground-breaking technology.

With this in mind, they have introduced 2 new products:

  1. TV: The 89" TV boasts a bright and sharp microLED, along with “25 million micro-meter sized LEDS”. This helps produce the light and the color accordingly.

2. Computer: The South-Korean based Technology company introduced a state-of-the-art computer monitor, the Odyssey Ark. This monitor can be used for both gaming and work.

This last tech-based innovation is a rather fun one — Tatoo You!

This is a skin-safe product that allows an individual to “tatoo” anything on their skin. It can be removed with soap and water.
